At only 23 years of age, there is nothing but a massive future way ahead of this one.
After smashing the English Senior 102kg title in January, Omar secured himself a national team place and received a call up to represent Great Britain at the EWF Junior & U23 Weightlifting Championships in Finland taking place later this month.
You may occasionally find him in and around London, teaching a Crossfitter a thing or two about weightlifting @crossfitheathrow
Trust us, he’s one to keep an eye on.
