MEET ED:
A competitive weightlifter and Chemistry student who has been with us since the start.
2021 was a great year for Ed as a weightlifter: he won the British Championships and qualified for the England Commonwealth Games training squad. Had the pandemic allowed, he would’ve even gone ahead to represent England at the Commonwealth Championships! Beyond impressive.
It’s also pretty great grounding for Ed as he looks forward to the 2022 Commonwealth Games qualifications in April.
Oh, and he plans to start his PhD too. No pressure or anything… 🤯
Ed will be back in action this month at the British Championships, hoping to retain his title. As for the rest of the year? The possibilities, as far as we can see, are endless.
